Products & Quality
While we follow organic growing practices, we are not certified organic. We grow all our mushrooms using natural substrates without pesticides or harmful chemicals.
Store fresh mushrooms in a paper bag in the refrigerator. They'll stay fresh for 7-10 days. Avoid plastic bags as they trap moisture and can cause spoilage.
We grow all our mushrooms locally in Phoenix, Arizona. They're harvested fresh and delivered within days, not weeks like grocery store mushrooms. You'll taste the difference!

Mushroom Cultivation
Oyster mushrooms are the most forgiving for beginners. They colonize quickly, tolerate a wide range of conditions, and fruit reliably. Our Blue Oyster grow kits are specifically designed for first-time growers.
Inject 1-2ml of liquid culture into sterilized grain spawn or agar plates using sterile technique. Our cultures come with detailed instructions and are tested for viability before shipping. Store unused culture in the refrigerator for up to 6 months.
Liquid culture is mycelium suspended in a nutrient solution - it's used to inoculate grain or agar. Spawn is fully colonized grain that's ready to be mixed with your bulk substrate. Spawn is faster but more expensive; liquid culture gives you more flexibility and value.
It depends on your approach. Our ready-to-fruit grow kits require no sterilization equipment at all. If you want to make your own substrate, a pressure cooker is essential for sterilizing grain. We sell pre-sterilized grain bags if you don't have one.
Most gourmet mushrooms fruit best between 60-75°F (15-24°C). Lion's Mane prefers the cooler end, while oysters tolerate warmer temps. Consistent temperature is more important than hitting an exact number.
The most common issues are: not enough fresh air exchange (FAE), humidity too low, or not enough light. Make sure you're misting 2-3 times daily, fanning for FAE, and providing indirect light. If it's been over 2 weeks with no pins, reach out to us.
Tinctures & Wellness
We use 100% fruiting body - no mycelium on grain fillers. Our triple extraction process (alcohol + hot water + ultrasonic) captures the full spectrum of beneficial compounds including beta-glucans, triterpenes, and polysaccharides.
Take 1-2 dropperfuls (1-2ml) daily, either directly under the tongue or mixed into coffee, tea, or smoothies. For best results, take consistently at the same time each day. Start with one dropper and increase as desired.
Our tinctures are food-grade supplements made from culinary mushrooms. However, if you're on medication - especially blood thinners or immunosuppressants - please consult your healthcare provider before starting any new supplement.
Many people notice subtle improvements in focus or energy within the first week. However, the full benefits of functional mushrooms typically develop over 2-4 weeks of consistent use as the compounds build up in your system.
